absorbent papers
A group of soft, unsized papers used to soak up
water and other liquids. Although not sized, the
papers may be treated with synthetic resins as a
method of enhancing their wet strength. Absorbent
papers include blotting papers, as well as the
base papers used in the manufacture of IMITATION LEATHER ,
VEGETABLE PARCHMENT
PAPER , WET-STRENGTH PAPER ,
