Mary Anne Unger's inspiration for Wave was the inside of a nautilus shell. The piece, located near City Hall, is an abstract sculpture made from welded steel shaped into rings. The rings form an arch that looks like a crashing wave. At its highest point, the sculpture measures 15 feet. The sculpture, which is also called "Slinky," has become the favorite local spot for wedding photos.
