This sculpture, also nicknamed “Jolly Green Giant,” shows a man kneeling while holding a ball with rays in his left hand and miniature people in his right hand. The sculpture is owned by the city-county government and represents the interpretation of a bible passage by the artist. In this photo, the sculpture is wearing a jersey from a National Hockey League team. What team from the NHL is in Detroit, and why would someone dress the sculpture up like that?
