Campbell County Crossroads is a five-piece sculptural group of two ranchers in neighborly conversation on the grounds of the Campbell County Public Library. One is atop a horse, the other has a horse by his side; two dogs lie close by. The rider is George Amos, a horse wrangler who first came to Wyoming in 1809. Amos liked reading, and with support from his estate, the George Amos Memorial Library was built. The library eventually outgrew its original building, but it was important that the community remember Amos in a meaningful way. Carl Jensen, a rancher himself, created the sculpture.
