Re: bibliographies

Hi, Camille –

I’ve personally found “Preserving Textiles: A Guide for the Nonspecialist” (Harold Mailand and Dorothy Stities Alig, 1999) to be very helpful as a general resource, as well as http://www.textilemuseum.org/care/brochures/guidelines.htm

Hope this helps – best wishes,

Subject: bibliographies

Hello all,

I am starting a certification program for interns and in the process of gathering my reading materials and scanning my library I see that my resources are out of date (where has the time gone?) If anyone has a bibliography of introductory reading materials for textile conservation and/or knows of a good source of articles on the web, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks,

Camille
