Conservation of an egyptian cartonnage

Dear colleagues,

I'm from Spain and I'm working these days on a piece of ancient egyptican cartonnage (as surelly you all will know, this consists on a piece of linen with
a thick gesso layer and painted surface). Anyway, this piece was very dehydrated and it was cracking all the painting surface.

I did put it into an humidity chamber, but I'm not sure on what Consolidation Method and products to use. I was thinking in Fish Glue, to use something completely reversible,
before using any synthetic material.

The painting surface is cracked but yet fixed on the linen, and a little powdery.
The linen is quite well conserved, not broken anywhere.

May someone help me, please?

Thank you very much.
