To my untrained eye the leather appears to have undergone a tawning process. The leather is very light in color and very soft and flexible. It almost has a sueded feel.

affect which cleaning method you should use. It is a full pelt, and it is very dirty. I was wondering if any of you could suggest a cleaning method that would be safe for both the leather and wool.
