Re: Sheepskin

To my untrained eye the leather appears to have undergone a tawning process.  The leather is very light in color and very soft and flexible.  It almost has a sueded feel.
Thanks

Hi Jennifer ? Has the leather been tanned (which method)? Raw or tanned will
affect which cleaning method you should use.

We have a Navajo-Churro (sheepskin) fleece that is used in our elementary
outreach program.  It is a full pelt, and it is very dirty.  I was wondering
if any of you could suggest a cleaning method that would be safe for both
the leather and wool.
 Thank you,
Jennifer Hadley
