Hallo TEXCONS-List,
I have a question.
What is doing with textiles that have burned borders outside from a fire (
from the wartimes or accident in the museum)?
In my case I have an object which is from Ancient Peru an the weft is from
wool. The borders of the textiles are totaly coaled for 2cm.
Is there anybody who has experience to solve this problem?
Answers to my e-mails: christine.mueller@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ( museums

Sincerely and thank you for your help
