ideas about carpets

I waited to see if anyone would repond. But...

If it works & is staying down I would leave it until it begins to come
up. Foam tape only get stiffer as it ages and it would cause alot of
stress to remove it. If they are all cut pile the adhesive will
probably never show through. If any of them are flat weave, Kilims then
I would try to change those as an experiment, to understand how much
trouble you are considering. One 10 X 12 carpet would take a minimum of
one week or more. It would be worthwhile if you do not let patrons walk
on them but otherwise I would do as your co-workers suggested & leave
it until...

 Problem: historic house which sees a great amount of visitor traffic.
The buildings are ived in by occupants as well as being open for

Your option is a suitable option but very time consuming....
