dusty white feathers

A friend of mine has some reproduction Native American masks that are adorned with feathers. They were on the wall down wind of forced air heat and an air conditioner. I vacuumed the dust off but the white feathers are still gray. Is there anything I can do to improve the appearance of these white feathers?
