For our reference: The texcons will be switched to another system in the near future that will (hopefully) reduce the spam and potential for viral problems! In the meantime, perhaps the best is to delete those items with strange subject titles. Mary Ballard

    1.  Hope nobody answers the "stocker" plea. It is supposed to be a
hoax and answering it can give your computer a virus.
    2.  Mary or whomever hosts this list -- there are filters that can
automatically screen to prevent attachments from appearing on postings
and also devices that  prevent junk email from appearing. Have you
checked into any of these for Texcons? This list seems to be a target
the past several months for a variety of junk messages.
