Rolling tubes

Thanks to everyone for all the useful and detailed
information on rolling tubes.  I have a couple of
questions.

1. Could there be a problem with the acidic tubes
covered with marvelseal on the outside, but not the
inside in long term storage?  The barrier would
prevent surface acids from being in contact with the
textile, but is there a problem with off gassing
products from the interior of the tubes?

2. What are people using for black out materials?  I
have light sensitive materials that are stored under
filtered fluoresent lights in a work room, and need to
cover them.
