Packing Crates

National Museums and Galleries on Merseyside has a couple of hundred
long, narrow used crates which need to be disposed of. They were
purchased this year for the transport of antiquities and ethnology
collections from one store to another.

The crates are of 'U' construction heavy duty cardboard, samples of
which performed well in Oddy tests.

Dimensions: 203mm x 305mm, with lengths 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, 3.5m, and 4m.

We used them largely for spears, paddles, guns, bows, etc.
Would be ideal for storing/packing/transporting rolled textiles.

They are now a little shabby looking, with marker pen inscriptions and
bits of sticky tape stuck to them, but they are intact and still as
strong as when new.

They originally cost between 8 and 17 pounds sterling each - but you can
have them dead dead cheap if you can take any off our hands soon!
