librarians from all kinds of libraries to design, create and deliver
instructional webinars. The ALCTS
Education Committee is announcing a new method for members to submit webinar
ideas. We welcome submissions on a variety of topics
important to ALCTS members. You will find the form here: http://alctsprogram.wufoo.com/forms/alcts-webinar-proposal-form/ Remember, webinars need not
be lengthy, and can be created in a series if the topic is complex, or
created and delivered by more than one person. The topic range is wide
and variety is good—to meet the needs of our members. Brush off that last
presentation you made, or think about that new skill you learned, or new
process you implemented. Would others be interested? If so, your
idea might be perfect for ALCTS. Our members value the educational
opportunities the organization provides; this is an easy way for you to
contribute to ALCTS. Upon submission, the
application will be send to Julia Gammon, chair of the ALCTS Education
Committee. Review will be completed by the appropriate section level
committees. Webinar technical assistance is available from
ALCTS and a stipend is offered. Best, Julia
