[padg] Survey regarding writing and drawing inks

Please feel free to forward this to any conservator who might not have already
seen this.

The following survey is part of a research project investigating methods of
testing writing and drawing inks in relation to aqueous conservation treatment
methods.  Participants, regardless of their background or training, are
encouraged to participate in an anonymous, online survey, available through
Friday May 15, 2009, at:

Participation in this study entails completion of an online questionnaire that
should take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete. There are no risks to
participating in this study beyond the discomfort you might experience in
everyday life. Individual participants in this research will not directly
benefit from participation. However, findings from the research may help to
describe current conservation treatment methodologies.

Completion of the survey indicates your willingness to participate and that you
are at least eighteen years of age. You may print out a copy of this consent
form for your records. If you have any questions about your rights as a
