[padg] Preservation Conference in Michigan



Who are You Going to Call? Library-Vendor Partnerships on Preservation Projects

The Michigan Library Consortium will be hosting a two-day preservation conference in East Lansing on June 4-5, 2009. The conference theme is libraries working with preservation/conservation vendors on preservation projects. Presenters will focus on specific projects that libraries have worked on with preservation vendors. 

The speaker lineup includes:
Michele Cloonan - Simmons College, Graduate School of Library and Information Science
Shannon Zachary - University of Michigan
Jennifer Thomas - Albion College
Eric Alstrom - Michigan State University
James Craven - UM Bentley Library
Ann Olszewski - Cleveland Public Library
Jennifer Hain Teper - University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana
Nancy Kraft - University of Iowa

A variety of regional and national preservation vendors will be exhibiting.
