for info & registration Recent years have seen an expansion of research and
new insights into the material science of paper and paper-based
collections. Understanding of the raw materials, their deterioration and
conservation strategies have developed – alongside new strategies for dealing
with the enormous legacy of paper. This conference brings together key workers in the
field from major collections such as the British Library and the Library of
