********************************************

Dear list members,

One of the most important ongoing initiatives of the AMIA Education
Committee is the AMIA Scholarship program, through which the
Association of Moving Image Archivists and affiliated institutions
support the work of students who are pursuing careers in moving image
preservation and archive management.

Application materials for the 2009 AMIA Scholarships, Kodak
Fellowship, and Image Permanence Institute Internship are now
available online at http://www.amianet.org/events/scholarship.php.

Deadlines for fellowship/internship and AMIA scholarships applications
May 1 and May 15, respectively. We hope you will take the time now to
forward this announcement to your associates, colleagues, and any
eligible students who would be good candidates for these awards!

Questions about the scholarship program may be directed to the AMIA
office at (email) amia@xxxxxxxxxxx, (phone) 323-463-1500, or (fax)
323-463-1506.

Sincerely,

Snowden
