[PADG:839] Midwinter report from PPP Committee

The PARS Program Planning and Publications Committee is working with authors on a number of publications.  Coming out in late February is the eagerly anticipated "The Preservation Manager's Guide to Cost Analysis".  The out of print "Guide to the Library Binding Institute Standard for Library Binding" is being revised and will be published through ALCTS in time for the Binding preconference at Annual this year.  A monograph on Binding will be published shortly there after.  Several additional titles for revision and new publications are also in the beginning stages.  The committee is also excited about the upcoming programs for Annual.  In addition to the preconference on commercial binding there will be a program on Mold, very timely for the New Orleans location, and the second program in a three part series on saving sound recordings in various formats.  Programs are already in the planning stages for Annual 2007 and 2008.  

An announcement will be posted as soon as the price and availability date for the "...Cost Analysis" publication is known.
