[PADG:506] Spaces Still Aavailable in "Preparación para Prevenir Desastres"

Seats are still available in the SOLINET Preservation class  "Preparación para Prevenir Desastres ".   Students enrolled in library or archives programs may attend at half price, and anyone living in Puerto Rico may attend at the member price, thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Division of Preservation and Access.  This one-day class will provide the training necessary to plan, organize, and execute a disaster plan and a salvage operation. In addition to in-depth discussion on the disaster planning process, there will be demonstrations of salvage techniques and group exercises.  

Instructor:  Dr. Alfred Lemmon, Director of the Historic New Orleans Collection's Williams Research Center

Time and Location: July 19th, 9am-4pm, at Pontifical Catholic University,  PR

Cost:  $145.00 for SOLINET members, $185.00 for non-members.  Anyone living in Puerto Rico may attend at the member rate, and students may attend at half price.  Be sure to choose "member rate" or "student rate" when registering online to ensure proper billing.
