[PADG:291] PARS discussion group agenda

The PARS Discussion Group will meet on Sunday, January 16, 4:30-5:30 in the
American South room of the Westin Hotel.  
The agenda follows. 

1.  Introductions, announcements.
2.  Rare Books and Manuscripts Section Task Force to review/update the 1993
"ACRL Guidelines on the Selection of 
     General Collection Materials for Transfer to Special Collections".
Charlotte Brown and members of the Task Force will  
     lead a brief general discussion and call for input. 
3.  Google and preservation programs.  Carla Montori will describe the
University of Michigan experience of working with  
     Google to design and implement an on-site Google scanning project, and
will moderate discussion.
