[PADG:1365] Rollataq in Preservation?

Could someone advise us on the use of Rollataq in preservation? The
manufacturer is Daige (1-800-645-3323) http://www.daige.com/.

I found no references to this process in searching the PADG Archives.
Bookarts list has some discussion of this, but the context is somewhat
different. The Condistlist has a few references to its use, too, but again
the context is somewhat different.

On the Book Arts list Peter Verheyen wrote:
"The adhesive is a "modified Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer." As to
whether it is "archival" or not I guess that depends on how and where it's
used."

Our primary use at this point would be using the motorized model for the
application of un-gummed book plates, especially in acid free clamshell and
phase boxes for the circulating collection. Additional applications are
considered in our book repair unit.

Any advice would appreciated. Perhaps some answers posted to the list would
be helpful to others.

Thanks.
