The American Library 
Association Annual  Conference is a mere three weeks away.  As the 
PARS representative to the ALCTS Membership Committee (and the Chair-elect) I 
would ask all of you to please consider volunteering for the ALCTS booth.  
It is a fun and interesting way to interact with both ALCTS and non-ALCTS 
people.  There are usually two people volunteering at any one time so you 
always have someone to talk to as well.  Please take an hour (or two!!) and 
join us in supporting Preservation, Technical Services and 
Libraries!!
Ease of scheduling 
this year is vastly improved.  There is a web site, updated frequently, 
with filled and unfilled booth hours at <A
