As part of the 1987 audio preservation planning project for the
Association for Recorded Sound Collections I visited the underground
storage facility that Walter mentioned last --Underground Vaults &
Storage, Inc.-- in Hutchinson, Kansas. I don't know if the had a
fire, but their facilities were clean and well maintained when I was
there.
