Cooperative Preservation Programs Discussion Group

Topic:  International Cooperative Programs and Activities

The Cooperative Preservation Programs Discussion Group started a brief
discussion on international activities and the upcoming IFLA meeting in the U.S.
at the midwinter meeting.  The group decided  to continue this discussion
focusing on what other cooperative groups are doing internationally and how
cooperative programs in the U.S. can participate with international groups.

The discussion will be informal.  Representatives from all types of cooperative
groups are encouraged to attend.  If you are not able to attend, the group would
like national and international cooperative groups to provide brief descriptions
and announcements of current and future international preservation projects.  In
addition, any comments or suggestions on how cooperative preservation programs
in the U.S. can participate with international groups would be welcome.

srichard@xxxxxxxxxx or 1-800-843-8482.  All information collected prior to the
meeting will be compiled and submitted to the group.  In addition, the
discussion group chair position is open for nomination.  Interested parties
