carries both the Vagelli (Italian) and Robust (German) shears. I
have never seen the former, but we bought a Robust Model
1300/820.
Bookmakers' Leaflet #10 describes it as "Heavy-duty
precision-machined cast iron," which scarcely does it justice.It
is "Typische deutsche." We have yet to do conservator-type things
with it, but have found one thing it does very nicely is cut
"Volara" foam. However, both brands are $$$$$.
