We are uncertain why the press release on this subject could not be downloaded by you last Friday, 3/6.

"http://lcweb.loc.gov/preserv";    At that web address, select "Research and Testing Online," where a number
of publications about mass deacidification are reproduced, including the January '98 press release and an
informative April 1997 article in the Library of Congress Information Bulletin.
