Re: conservation vs preservation
Gretchen, I am sure that dozens of Preservation professionals will jump
on the chance to respond to this question so I will allow them the
privilege. But there is a real and sound difference, both philosophic and
theoretic, and pretty well shaken down in the arena of experience over
the last 20 years. I think conservators as well as pres. prof. are in
