Positions at Yale

The following are condensed versions of two important jobs in Yale
University Library's Preservation Department. Prospective applicants can
contact me directly for more information about the ongoing activities and
opportunities in the Presevation Department or submit applications directly
to the library's Human Resources department.

By way of brief background, these two full-time jobs fill Alexis Hagadorn's
vacant position. She held both responsibilities on a half-time basis (a
nearly impossible situation). Alexis took a position at Columbia last
October.

Rank: Librarian I

RESPONSIBILITIES Under the general supervision and guidance of the Head of

in the overall management of the Preservation Department through
participation in the Preservation Management Team and appropriate library

commitment to the maintenance of its intellectual assets in book form and
should expect to grow professionally as needs of the library's collections
evolve.
