RE: Preservation Committee

Robert:  At Arizona State University at Tempe I established the Special
Materials Group.  It is composed of the heads of departments that have
special or unique needs for conservation work, either in-house or of a
contractual nature.  The group has been in existence less than a year.
It has been a valuable avenue to share ideas and information; review
priorities for conservation needs, etc.
