Preventative Conservation Officer
APS 6 - $32,508 - $45,113, Job Reference No. 50027181
You will work to the Head of Collection Services and will be responsible
for establishing and running appropriate collection maintenance and
environmental monitoring programs; and for pest and disaster control
programs for all storage and display areas of the National Collection.
The work involves ensuring that all environmental and maintenance
parameters for objects in storage and on display and disaster recovery
procedures meet best practice standards for the preservation of the
collections and the safety of all staff
Note: Mandatory qualifications, preferably the completion of tertiary
qualifications in the conservation field apply.
