The Society of American Archivists (SAA) is compiling a list of volunteers
from its membership for hurricane-related assistance. The organization has
also composed an open letter to Louisiana Gov. Blanco Regarding Hurricane
Katrina and Archival Records urging a more rapid pace for collections
assessment and recovery.
