Excerpt:
"Prague City Hall has earmarked CZK 16 million for the restoration of cultural heritage in hurricane-damaged New Orleans, deputy Prague mayor Jan Buergermeister told reporters yesterday.
"Concrete projects based on consultations with U.S. experts will be announced in October.
"Czech experts are to participate in the renovation of the historical French district in New Orleans, artifacts and archive documents.
"Buergermeister recalled that Prague has the benefit of its experience with the catastrophic floods in summer of 2002.
"The Prague City Hall has already contacted specialists, including conservationists, restorers and experts in saving archive documents, who would like to help with the restoration of New Orleans."
