Your desired depth of 1-1/2" to 2" nearly makes this a shadowbox, if you are
referring to rabbet depth.
The Williamson Company has a moulding that almost fits your description:
Maple; square, flat-top 3/4"wide; 1-7/16" deep outside; 1-3/16" deep rabbet;
whitewashed finish = #35-6232-2889; clear finish = #35-6232-2809.
