IWM (Imperial War Museums) tells the story of people who have lived,
fought and died in conflicts involving Britain and the Commonwealth
from the First World War to the present day.  Using its unique
collections, IWM explores the causes of war and its impact on
people's lives, engaging audiences worldwide through its website,
digital resources and across its five branches--IWM London, IWM
North, IWM Duxford, Churchill War Rooms and HMS Belfast.

Your role is to undertake preventive conservation, care, maintenance
and treatment as defined in agreed, devolved method statements by
the Care Project Manager.  To produce risk assessments and method
statements for activities as identified by the Care Project Manager.
To maintain electronic and paper based records of work done as
appropriate to the activity listed in the job description.  The
post-holder will be required to work at any of the Museum's sites as
directed.

The post is based at IWM's Lambeth Road branch but will occasionally
be required to work at all branches as required.
