My husband bought the legs of this desk at Ikea, his boss also
purchased it and both have been very pleased. They are engineers
and need large desk space for multiple computer screens so got the
legs and attached them to their own large desk tops. The legs are
hydraulic, very quiet and smooth. The boss tried out the strength
of the legs by sitting on his desk and made it go up and down with
no trouble at all. Here's the part number for Ikea in the USA, not
sure if it's a world-wide offering.
