A full time paintings restorer is required to work in a private
conservation studio largely specialising in Northern European Old
Master paintings from 1500 - 1700.

The work primarily consists of filling and retouching.

The applicant must be a graduate from an approved training
programme, have previous experience retouching easel paintings,
excellent colour matching skills, and a knowledge and interest in
materials and painting techniques.

A serious interest in Old Master paintings and excellent spoken and
written English is essential

Ideally, the right candidate would stay for a minimum of two years
and have significant experience working with dry pigments

Starting salary between GBP 30,000 and GBP 40,000 per annum,
dependent on previous experience
