Mount Making Technician

Short term contracts, ranging from 1 day to 2 months

Pay rate: Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience

We are looking for Mount-Makers to work on a number of short term
contracts for one of London's most loved museums.  You will be
expected to make high quality mounts in Perspex and metal, some will
be standard mounts, and others will be bespoke.  The first contract
will be for 2-3 weeks before Christmas, so if you are interested, do
not delay your application.

Key skills required:

    You must be an experienced mount maker for high value objects

    Experienced in working with metal and perspex to an exquisite
    standard

    Be confident with your engineering and mount designing skills

    Be available for temporary contracts (these could range from 1
    day to 2 months)

    Must enjoy working with delicate, organic objects and not be
    afraid of creepy crawlies
