Workshop on Gilding Techniques

The Art Conservation Program at Queen's University is organizing a
workshop on traditional gilding techniques, Friday - Sunday February
5-7, 2016.  This 2 1/2 day workshop will be taught by Ms. Sacha
Marie Levay from the Montreal Museum of Fine Art and will also
include an introduction to the conservation, history, and impact of
frames.

We are pleased to announce that a limited number of spots are now
open for registration to the greater conservation and museum
community.  The registration fee is $400.  For this fee,
participants will have access to all necessary materials and will
receive a take-home information package containing the course
content.  The deadline for registration is January 15, 2016.
