Subject: Laminating films in sealed exhibition vitrines
Drytac Interlam BioMatte over-laminating film (cellulose-based, aqueous acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive with UV stabilisers) has been proposed to cover the vertical surface of a sealed vitrine that will be used to display iron gall ink documents on paper and vellum. The product does not contain PVC. There is not enough time to have the material tested. Is anyone familiar with this product, and had the occasion to test it? Any advice would be appreciated.
