The 2nd international workshop within the framework of the
FWF-research project "Asian interior decoration in Schanbrunn
Palace" brings together conservators, conservation scientists and
art historians.  The conference aims again to discuss East Asian
interior decoration including porcelain, lacquer and paper objects.
>From the Austrian side, results of the research from the last two
years on porcelain, lacquer and paper wares will be presented and
discussed with the conference audience.

Papers to be presented at the conference focus on the investigation
and conservation of East Asian interiors and their decoration in
imperial residences as well as case studies on art historical,
conservation and conservation science issues in these fields.
Provenance research, especially on objects with Asian origin and
objects manufactured in Europe in the design of East Asian ware, is
highlighted.

Technical details: The lectures (approximately 20 minutes) are held
in English.  A guided tour (limited to 25 persons) or free entrance
in Schonbrunn Palace is included.

Participation: The workshop is limited to a maximum of 120
participants.  Please submit the registration form for the workshop

Guided Tour: The guided tour is limited to a maximum of 25 persons.
Registrations for the tour will be ranked in order of time.  After
exceeding the maximum number of participants, free entrance to the
Palace (valid until 8 December 2015) will be offered to interested
persons.

Workshop fee

    Regular: 100 Euro
    Reduced (students, graduates IKR, BDA): 50 Euro

Lecturers and member of ARRE, BMobV and LK Wien are free of charge.

Workshop fee has to be paid after registration is confirmed.

Participants must bear costs for travel and accommodation.
