Subject: PCA Guidelines for Lending Works of Art on Paper
This is posted on behalf of Jim Ganz, President of the Print Council of America and Curator of the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. I am pleased to announce that the 2015 digital edition of the Print Council of America's Guidelines for Lending Works of Art on Paper is now available as a free download on the PCA's website at <URL:http://www.printcouncil.org/study/publications/> The download does not require a password and is provided free of charge to any interested party (the PDF takes the place of the 1995 edition of the pamphlet, which is now out of print). The foreword to this publication spells out its long history. Many distinguished members of the PCA had a hand in the compilation and review of the original manuscript, including Verna Curtis, Suzanne Boorsch, Marjorie Cohn, and Meg Graselli who all contributed to the 1995 edition. I am grateful to Joan Wright of the MFA Boston for taking time out of her busy schedule to bring the text up to date with evolving standards and practices of the 21st century.
