Call for papers

The Icon Book and Paper Group and the Photographic Materials Group
will be hosting a joint session at Icon Conference 2016: 'Turn and
Face the Change: Conservation in the 21st Century' on 15-17 June
2016.

The joint session will relate to the theme of the conference. See

We welcome all submissions however, following feedback from previous
conferences, we are particularly interested in presentations
relating to remedial and interdisciplinary projects.

Have you recently undertaken a particularly innovative, unusual or
complex treatment?

Perhaps you have used new technologies and techniques or worked on
an object spanning different disciplines? Or has a research project
resulted in a change of practice?

Maybe you have noticed changes in the relationship between
conservation, preservation and digitisation?

Or you have found a successful approach to dealing with the impact
of the economic climate on our profession?

If so, we would like to hear from you

Presentations will be 20 minutes long. Your abstract (maximum 150
words) should include the title and outline of your presentation or
poster, along with the names, addresses and email addresses of all
authors. Please also indicate an author for correspondence.

How to submit your paper:

    <iconbpg<-at->gmail<.>com>

Send photographic related abstracts to Sarah Allen
