Call for papers The Icon Book and Paper Group and the Photographic Materials Group will be hosting a joint session at Icon Conference 2016: 'Turn and Face the Change: Conservation in the 21st Century' on 15-17 June 2016. The joint session will relate to the theme of the conference. See <URL:http://icon.org.uk/news/call-papers-icon-conference-2016> We welcome all submissions however, following feedback from previous conferences, we are particularly interested in presentations relating to remedial and interdisciplinary projects. Have you recently undertaken a particularly innovative, unusual or complex treatment? Perhaps you have used new technologies and techniques or worked on an object spanning different disciplines? Or has a research project resulted in a change of practice? Maybe you have noticed changes in the relationship between conservation, preservation and digitisation? Or you have found a successful approach to dealing with the impact of the economic climate on our profession? If so, we would like to hear from you Presentations will be 20 minutes long. Your abstract (maximum 150 words) should include the title and outline of your presentation or poster, along with the names, addresses and email addresses of all authors. Please also indicate an author for correspondence.
