Dana Hemmenway, Senior Photograph Conservator in the Library of Congress Conservation Division and Matthew Clarke, Photographic Materials Scientist at the National Gallery of Art (currently at the Freer and Sackler Galleries), present research investigating the efficacy of various chelators to reduce residual iron and minimize visible staining in platinum and palladium prints.
