Paper Conservator Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki Permanent, full-time The Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki is the home of visual arts in New Zealand, with a collection numbering over 16,000 works. We have more than 12,000 works on paper, including outstanding collections of works by Henry Fuseli, Jacques Callot, Giovanni Battista Piranesi and Stefano Della Bella. <URL:https://careers.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/jobdetails?ajid=C8OIj> As a Paper Conservator at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki, you will contribute to the safe stewardship of the gallery's collections of art and its reputation, by promoting and facilitating the care and conservation of the paper-based and photographic collections. You will provide specialist conservation expertise to carry out research, stabilise and treat paper-based and photographic artworks, to enable their full appreciation and support their accessibility. In addition, this position contributes to the exhibitions programme and promotes the care of paper-based and photographic artworks to the wider community.
