Laser Cleaning workshop Brooklyn Museum New York Thursday 19 November 2015 Places available: 10 maximum offered on a first come first served basis There is no charge for this 1-day workshop. The workshop is aimed at conservators with no or little experience of laser cleaning. It provides a basic introduction to the technique and will enable participants to gain valuable practical experience as well as a solid grounding of the theory. The workshop will focus on the Q-switched NdYAG laser, which is the most common laser used in sculpture and objects conservation currently. Participants are encouraged to bring along samples for testing.
