Subject: Digital cradle pattern removal tool for X-rays
Partnering with Kress, Duke University and the Free University of Brussels, we have developed a digital cradle pattern removal tool for x-radiographs of panel paintings. Many thanks also to Bart DeVolder and the Ghent Altarpiece project that provided other inspiration. It works either within Photoshop or as a stand-alone program. It is free and available at project-platypus.net. Added bonus: It works on stretchers as well!
