Editor of The Journal of the Institute of Conservation
Contract for Services - Proposals invited

The Institute of Conservation is seeking a new Editor of the Journal
of the Institute of Conservation who will guide it through the
transition to a new Publishing Agreement in 2015/2016 and the move
to publishing three issues a year in 2017.

The contract offers the opportunity to work closely with
conservation professionals, to encourage the highest standards of
writing, to produce an international publication of academic rigour
that is used and highly regarded by conservators, as well as
personal professional development by staying up to date with the
literature and developments in the profession.

This contract for services is for two years in the first instance
with the potential for review.  Icon will agree a financial package
with the Editor that will have a total value equivalent to 14,000GBP
per year (plus VAT if applicable) during both 2016 and 2017.
