Senior Conservation Technician, Time-Based Media (2 positions) Conservation Tate 1 permanent position 1 12 months fixed-term position Reference: TG1205/ TG1194 Band: 4L Salary: UKP24,000 per annum Full-time Reporting to: Time-Based Media Conservator Location: Southwark, London We are seeking two experienced Time Based Media Senior Technicians to work within our Time Based Media Conservation team. The roles will support programme activity for exhibitions and displays with a focus on the delivery of the new Tate Modern displays. One appointment is offered on a permanent contract. One appointment is offered on a fixed-term contract of 12 months. As your day-to-day work involves the preparation and installation of time based media artworks you will need to be able to work independently. You must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and skills required for the preparation of time based media artworks and have strong communication skills to be able to communicate specialist technical advice effectively to a wide range of stakeholders. You must have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and be able to work flexibly and under pressure.
