The Archives and Records Association Preservation and Conservation Group are happy to announce the following training event: Training day on Photographs for Conservators and other interested professionals National Library of Wales Aberystwyth, UK 22 October 2015 An exciting opportunity to participate in this training day on the conservation and preservation of photographs. Delegates will be able to see demonstrations and learn more about the causes and treatment of Vinegar Syndrome in negatives, Conservation care and preservation, Studies on the treatment of paper and glass based photographic materials and the surveying of photographic collections. This training day is a great opportunity for Conservators to meet, learn, network and swap ideas. This training event is limited to 20 places on a first come first serve basis.
